BIOGRAPHY

Sandra Siniväli is a classical soprano from Estonia who graduated both her Bachelor and Master studies at The Royal Conservatoire The Hague, studying with teacher Catrin Wyn-Davies. During her studies, she has taken singing masterclasses with Cynthia Makris, Lenneke Ruiten, Anna Samuil, Jill Feldman, Gary Matthewman, Claron McFadden and Eva Märtson. She has had extensive drama training with teachers like David Prins, Michael Chance, Elsina Jansen and Wilfred van de Peppel. Sandra has worked with distinguished directors like Barrie Kosky, Kirill Serebrennikov, Floris Visser, Theu Boermans and Dmitri Tcherniakov.

Sandra has worked in The Netherlands with the Dutch National Opera, Netherlands Radio Choir, Opera2Day, Holland Opera, Theateralliantie and Het USKO. Enjoying both solo work and ensemble singing, she has performed with conductors such as Riccardo Chailly, Vasily Petrenko, Karina Canellakis, Lorenzo Viotti, Paul Agnew, Edward Ananian-Cooper, Johannes Leertouwer, Hernán Schvartzman, Niek Idelenburg and Stijn Berkouwer. 

Sandra started her singing journey as early as 3 years old in the Ave Kumpas Singing School for Children. Her musical education led her on to sing in several choirs in Estonia, including the highly renowned Chamber Choir of the University of Tartu, while also having studied the flute in Tallinn School of Music. Her classical singing studies began in 2013 with teacher Ljudmilla Dombrovskaja-Keis in Tallinn. In 2017 she graduated from the classical singing department in Heino Eller Tartu Music School, her teacher was Viviane Kallaste.

Sandra is currently based in The Netherlands, where she works as a freelancer at The Dutch National Opera Chorus and The Netherlands Radio Choir.
